Content Executive at Packed.House (Full -Time)
Packed.House are seeking a versatile, hard-working, and talented content executive to join our content team.
We are looking for someone with a keen interest and passion for digital content creation, SEO, content marketing and social media. The content executive will work with a team of content creators, developing content ideas, content plans and managing social media for entertainment.ie. The successful candidate will have a strong background in digital publishing.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with the team to conceive and execute cutting-edge content online that engages with audiences – with a focus on music, TV/On Demand and movie news and reviews, as well as general trending entertainment content.
- Write, edit and upload content to our CMS
- Generate story ideas for content (editorial, video, podcast, social) and work with the team to build out monthly content calendars
- Action our social strategy to promote our entertainment brand on FB, IG, and Twitter
- Daily monitoring of web analytics to ensure a detailed knowledge of audience response and engagement at all times
- Identify the best content to push at key traffic spikes to drive engagement by interpreting audience data
- Represent our brand at industry events, panels, and applicable press trips
- Interview relevant talent and guests for our platform and audio/video products
- Assist with research for our video/audio products
- Ensure that all content is of the highest quality and in keeping with brand tone and value
Requirements:
- Experience working in digital publishing
- Comfortable on camera
- Degree in Journalism, Digital Media or an equivalent
- Experience in using a variety of digital journalism and multimedia tools and content management systems
- Data analytics –Google Analytics, Data Studio
- Social Media content and audience building
- SEO knowledge and best practice
- Excellent forward planning skills
- Calm under pressure with the ability to adapt and be flexible in task and role

Video Producer at Packed.House (Full-Time)
Packed.House are seeking a versatile, hard-working, and talented Video Producer to join our content team.
We are looking for someone with a creative mindset who loves coming up with and executing new ideas. The candidate must have a keen interest and passion for audio and video editing, lighting and camera set up, pre and post production and analytics.
The Video Producer will work with our team of video editors and content creators, developing and creating content for entertainment.ie, beaut.ie, familyfriendlyhq.ie and thesportschronicle.com. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of creating and distributing video content across various social media platforms and have a keen eye for analytics.
Requirements:
- Advanced experience in audio and video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Audition, After Effects, minor image editing ability for creating thumbnails/social posts.
- Experienced in lighting and DSLR camera set up for commercial and editorial shoots.
- Handle all technical aspects involved with pre-production and post-production. ie. call sheets, storyboards, recording video and audio, video editing, motion graphics, colour grading etc.
- In-depth technical expertise in the field of podcast recording and editing.
- Knowledge of creating and distributing video content for popular social platforms – YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc (short social clips, montages, reels, junkets, long-form video)
- Experience with commercial clients, responding to and adhering to briefs, content ideation, etc.
- Work closely with Editorial Production Lead on video and audio ideation and content planning.
- Ability to complete assigned, recurring tasks with limited supervision.
- Interests and ability to assess and monitor video analytics across editorial and social platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
